I've long been on the search for the perfect Alexandrite to work with, and recently found this gorgeous pear cut. A gem of such rarity and character holds an almost mythological status, fascinating with it's rich colour changes from purple to green, with flashes of red.
I've designed the setting to match the richness of the gem, by hand engraving the bezel and diamond set rose gold band.
