At Victoria Buckley Jewellery we believe diamond jewellery should be as individual as you are. In store we have an expanding range of unique diamond jewellery, including earrings, pendants and rings. Our engagement rings feature soft natural lines of hand engraving, contrasting with the cool perfection of high quality, ethically sourced diamonds. Some of our most beautiful designs juxtapose the cool contemporary lustre of white gold and platinum against the soft flowing lines of Victoria's designs.
The value of a diamond is determined by its rarity and the combination of carat weight, colour, clarity and cut. Two stones of equal carat weight can have vastly different prices if their colour clarity or quality of cut differs. Victoria Buckley Jewellery only uses diamonds of the highest quality, ranging from D-F colour, IF (Flawless)-VS2 clarity and we are able to find you the perfect gem for your piece of diamond jewellery.
To ensure we are offering the finest diamonds that can be found, we carry a selection of Hermitage diamonds and perfect Passion8 Hearts and Arrows.
Both of these sites carry a great deal of information about the very high quality diamonds they produce. We carry a large selection instore for you to see the brilliance of these diamonds for yourself. You can also read more about the diamonds we use on Victoria's blog.
CARAT WEIGHT
The term carat dates back to when gemstones were weighed using the carob bean as a counter balance. Carat weight also can be expressed as “points” where 1 carat (ct) = 100 points.
.
CUT
For diamonds of different proportions, the light behaves differently as it enters and exits the stone. The quality of the cut refers to the measurements of the diamond’s proportions, the symmetry of the facets and the quality of the polish. A stone of high colour and clarity may still appear dark and lifeless if the quality of the cut is poor.

Diamonds are also cut into many fancy shapes including (L-R) Cushion, Brilliant, Marquis, Princess, Emerald and Oval.

COLOUR
The international colour grading system used the letters D to Z to denote a colour where D is colourless and the depth of the colour increases down the scale to Z. Colours D, E, and F are considered colourless and are our preferred grades here at Victoria Buckley Jewellery. Fancy coloured Pinks, Yellows and Champagne diamonds are also available.

CLARITY
Clarity grading uses a series of abbreviations to denote the size, number, location, type and intensity of inclusions as well as external blemishes. Diamonds with fewer inclusions are rarer and therefore more valuable. At Victoria Buckley Jewellery we use stones that have a clarity between IF to VS2.

CONFLICT
Victoria Buckley Jewellery has only ever used conflict free stones.
All our diamonds are Russian mined and cut by master gem cutters.
